Dylematy badań nad internacjonalizacją przedsiębiorstwa

Coraz częstszy brak liniowości w przebiegu procesu internacjonalizacji współczesnych przedsiębiorstw, wyrażający się opuszczaniem pewnych faz, eksternalizacją wybranych czynności i czasowym wycofywaniem się z określonych rynków, prowadzi do sytuacji, w której liczba możliwych trajektorii internacjonalizacji wzrasta, a moc eksplanacyjna istniejących modeli teoretycznych słabnie. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ocena adekwatności dotychczasowego dorobku teoretycznego do wyjaśniania specyficznych zachowań firm w procesie internacjonalizacji (jak deinternacjonalizacja, reinternacjonalizacja czy nawiązywanie relacji quasi-hierarchicznych) oraz wskazanie na zależności i problemy, które trzeba uwzględnić, formułując nowe propozycje teoretyczne i miary internacjonalizacji. Badania oparto na wnioskach płynących z pogłębionych i krytycznych studiów literaturowych.
