Job crafting among Polish employees and entrepreneurs
Keywords:
job crafting, executive employees, entrepreneursAbstract
The subject of the study is the job crafting issue, currently still (from the point of view of empirical research) to a small extent present in the literature on the subject. The study is composed of two parts: theoretical, which discusses the concept of job crafting and cited research results on the phenomenon and factors co-occurring with job crafting, as well as empirical, including the presentation of qualitative research results carried out in a group of people with higher education: entrepreneurs and people employed in executive positions. As a result of the research, it turned out that this phenomenon also occurs in Polish conditions. Both employees employed in executive positions and entrepreneurs undertake activities aimed at adapting the work performed to their own preferences, and employees are of the opinion that entrepreneurs clearly hinder such activity.
