EHGS 1(1) is now available!

Launch day for European Historical Game Studies has arrived!

The inaugural issue, Ukrainian Games of War, is connected to the annual Games of War conference hosted by the University of Gdańsk since 2024. The issue explores games created in response to Russia's invasions of Ukraine in 2014 and 2022, examining how game developers and players engage with war, memory, and resistance through interactive media.

Contributors include Aliaksandr Razhkou, Jagoda Kościelniak, Emilia Mazur, Kacper Karwacki, Anna Sroka, Igor Kwasigroch, Michał Palmąka, and Yaraslau Kot.
