Temporal variation of the soft-bottom molluscan fauna in northwestern İskenderun Bay (Levantine Sea)

Niniejsze badanie przeprowadzono w celu śledzenia zmian czasowych fauny mięczaków o miękkim dnie w północno-zachodniej zatoce İskenderun. Materiał bentoniczny zebrano na głębokości od 3 do 37 m w 12 miejscach poboru próbek za pomocą próbnika chwytakowego van Veena w sezonie letnim w latach 2012, 2013 i 2014. Łącznie zidentyfikowano 133 gatunki na badanym obszarze poprzez zbadanie zebranego materiału. Spośród zidentyfikowanych gatunków Corbula gibba (Olivi, 1792), Bittium reticulatum (da Costa, 1778), Nassarius pygmaeus (Lamarck, 1822), Cerithidium diplax (Watson, 1886) i Finella pupoides Adams, A., 1860 mają najwyższe wartości wskaźnika częstości. Zgodnie ze wskaźnikiem podobieństwa Bray-Curtisa gatunki te mają również istotny wpływ na podobieństwo między stacjami. Ponadto C. diplax i F. pupoides są gatunkami obcymi dla Morza Śródziemnego.
