Phytoplankton distribution and variation along a freshwater-marine transition zone (Kızılırmak River) in the Black Sea

Abstract

Zarówno fitoplankton strefy przejściowej rzeki Kizilirmak/Morza Czarnego, jak i jego interakcje ze składnikami odżywczymi były badane w okresie od lipca 2007 r. do grudnia 2008 r. Łącznie 447 taksonów należących do dywizji: Cyanobacteria (24), Bacillariophyta (209), Bigyra (1), Cercozoa (1), Charophyta (11), Chlorophyta (32), Cryptophyta (11), Miozoa (119), Euglenozoa (14), Haptophyta (13), Ochrophyta (10) i Protozoa Incertae Sedis (2) zostało zidentyfikowanych w 5 różnych miejscach na badanym obszarze. Siedemdziesiąt cztery taksony uznano za nowe rekordy dla flory glonów Turcji, a 41 taksonów określono jako organizmy HAB (szkodliwy zakwit glonów).

Zgodnie z analizą hierarchicznego klastrowania i MDS, fitoplankton powierzchniowy był rozłożony wzdłuż gradientu zasolenia od wód słodkich do słonych, a próbki wczesnowiosenne zostały oddzielone od innych próbek. Jednak oprócz analizy aglomeracyjnej hierarchicznego klastrowania, próbki podzielono na cztery grupy - „Świeże”, „Słonawe”, „Morskie” i „Wczesnowiosenne-Morskie” - w wyniku analizy MDS.

Wyniki badania wykazały, że na fitoplankton powierzchniowy wpływały zasolenie, głębokość dysku Secchiego, a także sezonowa dynamika temperatury wody i stężenia NO3-N przez cały okres badań.
