Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The first footnote of the text submitted for publication indicates the sources of funding for the research presented in the scientific article or the preparation of the scientific article.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic requirements set out in the Guidelines for authors.
  • An article with an abstract in English and keywords should be from 20 thousand up to 40 thousand characters.
  • An abstract in English has been attached to the text.
  • Five keywords in English have been attached to the text.
  • Texts should be submitted in DOC or DOCX formats.

Each article should be sent with filled author’s form to: redakcja.jednakksiazki@gmail.com.

Authors of accepted articles are obliged to send the contract to the editor’s address. English-language version of the contract may be found here.

All articles sent to the editor that are intended to be published in the journal’s main part will be reviewed. Sending them to the editor means that the authors agree to the rules of reviewing, described in detail in The Process of Reviewing.

The editing team informs that all actions related to the issue of scientific misconduct (e.g. ghostwriting and guest authorship) will be exposed and reported. Authors are obliged to read and use carefully the journal’s ethical standards.

The journal does not charge the authors.

 

HOW TO PREPARE AN ARTICLE:

1. Format of main text and bibliography:

• font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.; spacing: 1.5;

• justified text; paragraph incision: 1.25;

• quotations: font – 10 pt., spacing – 1.5;

• spacing out is the only option of emphasizing parts of the text.

2. Attachment bibliography should be prepared analogously tothe rules for drawing up footnotes with a change oforder in theform: Author's surname before the first letter of the name. Forchapters from books or articles fromjournals, please specifythe page range.

A book: Surname of the author and the first letter of the name, Title, trans. The first letter of the Name and Surname of the translator, place of publication, year of publication.

3. Footnotes need to be prepared in accordance with the Chicago Humanities style:

• Page numbers should be entered after the abbreviation "p.".

• The following abbreviations should be used in the footnotes: Idem, Ibidem, op. cit.

When citing an electronic book, its format should be indicated at the end of the footnote and the total number of pages, eg [ebook: mobi, p. 27 of 320].
