Education in Historical and Cultural Heritage in Archaeological Museums in Europe – Selected Examples

Abstract

This article presents selected examples of European museums that offer education dedicated to historical and cultural heritage with particular emphasis on issues related to archaeology. The institutions presented are distinguished by innovative activities in the field of exhibitions, they offer education for all age groups, and they implement innovative and experimental methods of disseminating knowledge referring to the history and culture of a given region.
