W służbie pokoju? Działalność „księży patriotów” w województwie gdańskim w latach 1950–1955

Abstrakt

„Patriot priests” regarded by the state as so called „positive” or „loyal”, participated in campaigns and activities inspired and prepared by the communist authorities. The „suitable” course of events was controlled both by functionaries of the Security Office and Department of Religion. One of those „patriot priests” activities was the propagation of the idea of peace. The most celebrated pro-peace undertaking was the mass scale signing of the Stockholm Appeal.
