Music, Memory, and the Preservation of Musical Texts: A Music-Oriented Case Study of Shijing and the Tsinghua University Bamboo Slips in Early China

Muzyka i pamięć są postrzegane jako ściśle powiązane, aczkolwiek łącząca je relacja może się różnić w zależności od epoki i kultury. Ponieważ we wczesnych Chinach nie istniała powszechnie stosowana forma notacji muzycznej, istotną rolę odgrywały pamięć i wzorce memoryzacji. W niniejszym artykule skupiono się na poezji z Księgi Pieśni (Shijing), porównując jej warianty zarówno w przekazywanej z pokolenia na pokolenie literaturze, jak i w źródłach archeologicznych, aby ustalić możliwą morfologię wczesnej chińskiej tradycji muzycznej.
