Abstrakt

The article is an attempt to present the didactic role of the academic teacher. In order to achieve that, empirical research was conducted among academic teachers and students. The teachers were asked how they viewed their didactic role at the university and whether it had changed within the past few years. The students were asked about their expectations regarding the teachers. Finally, graduates were asked which teachers they remembered best and for what reasons. The article contains considerations based on the results of interviews with the respondents.
