Yve-Alain Bois, Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton

Historyk i krytyk sztuki, eseista, kurator wystaw. Pracuje w Institute for Advanced Study w Princeton. Wykładał też na Uniwersytecie Harvarda, Uniwersytecie Johnsa Hopkinsa oraz w Centre national de la recherche scientifique w Paryżu. Członek redakcji kwartalnika „October”. Autor wielu książek, m.in. Formless: A User’s Guide (1997, z Rosalind Krauss), Matisse and Picasso (1998), Art Since 1900 (2004, z Benjaminem Buchlohem, Halem Fosterem i Rosalind Krauss).
