Abstrakt

The expansion of Russian Orthodox Church’s presence in the public life of contemporary Russian society has raised a genuine interest of linguists to study the church community language. However, the use of formal logical classifications, which still prevail in Russian language studies, led, as the author of the article shows, to distorting of the essence of the object of study.
