Language awareness and the sense of regional identity among the students of the selected schools from Świecie on the Vistula river

Abstract

This article is an effort answers for the question of regional identity pupils of secondary and high school in the Świecie. It is a report of research to verify pitch awareness dialect which is one of the determinant of regional identity. Contucted interviews and questionnaires shows the picture of the “typical” Kociewianin and look for the regional question and Kociewie from the perspective of his young residents. Exploration was perform in group of people in age of 13-18.
