Reviewing procedure

1. Articles submitted to the editorial board are subject to a preliminary assessment procedure carried out by the Editorial Committee of "Media Business Culture". The purpose of the initial assessment is to check the thematic compliance of the article with the profile of the journal and the formal rules of publication, as contained in the Recommendations for the Authors. Rules for the qualification of the texts assume the adoption of the article for the next stage of the reviewing procedure (point 2 below) or its rejection.

2. For the substantive evaluation of the texts at least two independent reviewers representing the area of knowledge relevant for the publication are appointed by the Editorial Committee. The reviews are prepared respecting good practices (scientific reliability, the ability to express unrestricted opinions) and the anonymity of reviewers and authors (double-blind review process). The review contains a conclusion regarding the consent (or lack thereof) for publishing the paper or the suggestion of necessary corrections to be made by the author. The reviewers appointed by the Editorial Committee must not come from a scientific entity to which the publication is affiliated by its author. The list of reviewers is published on the journal's website at the end of each calendar year.

3. Qualification of texts for printing is based on written opinions of reviewers, as contained in the reviews. The final decision on the publication of the article is made by the editor-in-chief of the journal, its deputy and reviewers. In the case of two contradictory opinions presented by reviewers, the Editorial Committee may appoint a super-reviewer. The condition for the publishing of the texts opined on by the reviewers as ones "requiring improvement" is that necessary changes, indicated in the review, are made by the author(s) of the publication.
