Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • I submit the text in order for it to be published in Ars Educandi journal and I agree to its publication.
  • The authors of the articles retain their copyrights. This applies to both already published texts and texts that the authors may submit in the future. The exceptions are laws that allow the Publishing House to print and distribute the submitted texts.
  • I consent to the editorial team and the Publishing House the application of the necessary changes in the text in order to adjust it to publication standards (language correction, changes in formatting, et cetera). This does not apply to substantive changes.

Author Guidelines

  • Text should be submitted with the use of our website: https://czasopisma.bg.ug.edu.pl/index.php/arseducandi/about/submissions
    printed version and CD-ROM with the text are not necessary.
  • Use the Times New Roman font. Font size:
    - Name of the author(s), their affiliation - 12;
    - The title of the centered and bold - 14;
    - Intertitles centered, without numbering - 12;
    - Content - line spacing 1.5, margins 2.5 cm - 12.
  • Quotes in italics, without quotation marks, long quotes separated from the text, spacing 1.0.
  • Tables and pictures numbered consecutively throughout the article and with the title or caption:
    - Included pictures should be provided in formats possible to import tp MS Word, for example: tif, jpg, bmp, eps, pcx, wmf;
    - Pictures made in the internal MS Word should be integrated;
    - Elements should be grouped together (not drawn directly in the text file).
  • References should be placed in the text - in brackets (eg. Giddens 2010, p. 38).
  • The text should be constructed in such a way that the number of notes in the footer are minimum.
  • Names of the authors cited in the text should be shortened to initials and consequently used in the rest of the text.
  • References should be made the same way as in previous issues of Ars Educandi.
  • The text should include a summary in English, the title of the English text and keywords (4-6) in Polish and English.
  • The minimum waiting period for publication of the text is approx. 12 months. If opinions on the offered text are divergent, the waiting period may be extended.
  • Materials sent to the editor (prints, CDs) are not returned.
  • The main responsibility for providing information (authors, contributors) shall be borne by the declarant of the article. "Ghostwriting", "guest authorship" shall not be accepted, any attempts will be exposed.

Charges
Submission and publishing of texts in Ars Educandi is free - the authors are not and will never be asked to pay any fees associated with the publication of the text. Readers too will never be asked to pay for downloading the digital versions of the articles published in the journal.

Rights
