Abstract

This article presents the results of an analysis of technical texts from the field of information technology, focusing on cognitive metaphors in the context of the term Artificial Intelligence. Particular attention is paid to personifications. The aim of the study is to identify the metaphors used and interpret their meanings in order to draw conclusions about how Artificial Intelligence is perceived in the analysed texts.
