Call for papers: AE 19 / 2022

We invite all interested sociologists, educators, philosophers, cultural scientists, media scholars and other representatives of social sciences and humanities to submit their texts to the next issue of our journal (19/2022), which is entitled "Sport in contemporary culture and education".

The title issue is to emphasize the place of sport, physical activity and its various manifestations in contemporary culture and society, with particular emphasis on the broadly understood socialization and education processes.

For many years, sport as an underestimated issue, treated a little less seriously from a scientific perspective, was not on the list of issues willingly undertaken by researchers. Recently, however, we have noticed a clear increase in interest in sport in the media, popular culture and social practice of everyday life, which are related to the educational processes, which is why we would like to subject these issues to scientific reflection.

It is also new forms of sport (e.g. e-sport), or its connections with for example: emancipation, expression, art, physical and mental health, visibility of disabilities, law, the role of animals in various forms of sport ...

There are many new ideas in the field of sport, and we encourage the authors to take a broad look at the issue.
