Self-responsibility of homeschoolers for the education of their own children

Abstract

The subject of the analysis is the increase in parents' interest in home education after the pandemic. In this article I will explain the difference between alternative education and learning at home which are the consequences of a lockdown or hybrid education. I underline the conditions of the renaissance of proper home education in Poland and the Czech Republic. I indicate the current functions of home education in the context of its self-responsibility for the quality of education, which becomes a sine qua non condition for parents' exceptional involvement and dedication to their own children.
