Abstract

This text is an attempt to seek answers about field and its multi-sensory experience in research work and social activities. The work experience of Lab of Social Initiatives DYM was thus collected and described in order to define two categories of the field and the process of its perception.

Monika Masalon, Łaźnia Centre for Contemporary Art

Anthropologist, co-creator of Amareya Lab, where she is engaged in the physical theater. Involved in PR and communication for Łaźnia Centre for Contemporary Art. Passionate urban explorer.
Research interests: women in anthropology, social research methodology

Aleksandra Kulińska, infuture hatalska foresight institute

Bulgarian, social researcher. Actively supports NGOs from Tricity in implementing social innovations. She is responsible for developing concepts and implementing non-standard qualitative research in the field of social and visual anthropology at infuture hatalska foresight institute.
Research interests: urban anthropology, sound studies, field recording

Sylwia Bruna, European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk

Anthropologist, social animator, qualitative researcher. Works at the European Solidarity Centre, where she supports social activists and NGOs. Creates, implements, and supports projects that activate people around important topics, events, and places.
Research interests: anthropology of things, local identity, memory of place
