“Ethnography. Practices, Theories, Experiences" is an academic, non-profit Polish journal of cultural anthropology. It was founded at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the University of Gdańsk, Poland, with the specific aim of disseminating texts on the problem of fieldwork and field experience in our discipline.

It publishes scientific articles and other scientific texts mostly in the field of cultural anthropology / ethnology, but also in the fields of sociology, pedagogy, history, folklore, cultural studies as well as other social sciences and humanities disciplines that apply ethnography as a research practice.

“Ethnography…" is an open-access journal. The original version is electronic and it is published once a year. Scientific articles published in the journal are reviewed in the double blind-review procedure.
