Abstract

The article deals with the issue of implementation of projects requiring a decision on the environmental conditions in the landscape park and its buffer zone. A landscape park is a special natural area with a special legal regime in the form of prohibitions regulated by art. 17 sec. 1 of the Act of 16th April 2004 on Nature Protection. In addition, the decision on environmental conditions for a project implemented in the area of a landscape park must also take into account the protection of priority landscape in landscape protection zones, if such an obligation results from a landscape audit. Additional requirements apply if the area of a landscape park covers at least partly a Natura 2000 area, because in this case the decision on environmental conditions must also consider the purpose of creation and the objective scope of protection introduced within the Natura 2000 area.
