Abstrakt

The model of electoral administration functioning until recently was characterized by the independence of electoral bodies from other state authorities, political neutrality and significant participation of judges (the so-called independent model). In November 2017, a draft amendment to the Electoral Code was submitted by deputies, containing a number of proposals that significantly changed that. The Author, taking into account the views of the doctrine of electoral law, analyzes and evaluates the proposed amendments, drawing attention to threats which they can bring to democratic elections carried out in our country.
