Rozmiar, dynamika i struktura przestępczości seksualnej w Polsce, w latach 1989–2017

Abstrakt

The paper, which is devoted to sexual crime in Poland, focuses on the statistical analysis of the size, dynamics (changes) and structure of offences covered by Chapter XXv of the Criminal Code of 1997 “Crimes against sexual freedom and decency”. The Author presents a criminological diagnosis of the state of sexual crime in Poland in the last 28 years, which is formulated with the use of criminal statistics methods. First of all, the data of police statistics have been presented, regarding the number of offenses detected, the level of detection, the sex of the perpetrators, their age and mental state (state of consciousness). The above analysis is complemented by comparative elements regarding the number of sexual crimes in selected european countries.
