Participation and govermentality? Refections from realization of the educational project Future Youth Schools Forum

EU policies and strategies highlight their importance: EU Youth Strategy (EYS); field; Education/ EC Council recommendation on early school leaving; tackling prevention and field of action; participation/youth and the world; also the EU Framework for Key Competences; communication, learning to learn, social and civic competencies; and the EU Commission; Supporting the Teaching Profession; aspects of competence; curricular and pedagogical knowledge. Developers of the project perceived these priorities as being important. Therefore they have designed the project Future Youth Schools Forum (FYS-Forum) to effectively meet them: The FYS-Forum project had objective to create an inclusive, sustainable, networked model of EU wide curriculum linked global citizenship youth forums that are delivered by schools for schools. But even the most carefully planned project can run into unexpected way. In my article a critical review of FYS-FORUM project will be presented.
