Era Marvela: wokół ekonomicznej specyfiki funkcjonowania filmowego uniwersum Marvel Studios

In his article, the author is trying to describe the evolution of audio-visual presentations based on the Marvel Comics characters and stories. The main goal of the paper is to recreate the economic and industrial foundations that stand behind the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe. By referring to many crucial turning points in the history of Marvel’s cinematic odyssey – like its unsuccessful TV beginnings and final re-shaping by being connected with Walt Disney Company – the analysis is trying to underline the important shifts in the financial and organisational structure of the Marvel’s Hollywood brands that were leading to the spectacular triumph of today’s “House of Ideas”.
