The results of the qualitative research on younger school-aged children’s perception of the relation between the learning outcomes and their impact on the financial situation of the adult have been presented in the article. What the paper attempts to address are the main differences in children’s knowledge about making money and their attitudes towards the basic sources of achieving financial success in adulthood. The article also tries to present some general reflections and to indicate possible research directions in this issue.
