Call for papers 2020

The editors of the "Gdańsk Yearbook of the Gdansk Scientific Society" invite you to send scientific texts in Polish or English, or other congressional languages ​​- German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, to the currently prepared volume LXXX (80) for 2020, devoted to broadly understood Gdańsk and Pomeranian, analyzed from the perspective of different, individual disciplines, as well as multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, etc.

An interesting perspective can be determined by anniversaries falling this year, including the 100th anniversary of the return of Pomerania to the borders of the Republic of Poland and the wedding of Poland with the Baltic Sea, 50th anniversary of December 1970 and 40th anniversary of August 1980. Traditionally, the leitmotif of the volume is the multiplicity of studies on Gdańsk and Pomerania. Interesting for us is both this type of content, reflecting the mosaic character of the analyzed space, as well as the cognitive formula, arising on the basis of many different research approaches met with each other in the volume. We invite authors working both between areas and precisely in the area of ​​science, art and culture; in the fields of humanities, social, theology, medical sciences, health, agricultural, exact and natural sciences, engineering and technical, etc. We accept previously unpublished studies in the following general categories: Articles - Studies, Relations - Research reports, Reviews - Reports - Conversations.
