Cel. Cyfrowa transformacja rynku farmaceutycznego przyczyniła się do wzrostu sprzedaży leków i suplementów diety online, co stwarza zarówno szanse, jak i zagrożenia dla konsumentów. Głównym problemem badawczym jest poziom świadomości konsumentów dotyczący bezpiecznych zakupów farmaceutycznych w Internecie. Celem artykułu jest analiza zagrożeń wynikających z e-commerce farmaceutycznego oraz ocena czynników wpływających na decyzje zakupowe konsumentów.
Metoda. Badanie miało charakter badania własnego o podejściu ilościowym i zostało przeprowadzone metodą ankiety online (CAWI) z wykorzystaniem autorskiego kwestionariusza. Próba badawcza obejmowała 238 respondentów – aktywnych użytkowników Internetu, dobranych metodą kuli śnieżnej. Analiza danych została przeprowadzona z wykorzystaniem testu Kruskala–Wallisa oraz analizy statystycznej odpowiedzi dotyczących bezpieczeństwa zakupów farmaceutycznych online.
Wyniki. Wyniki badań wskazują, że kluczowe czynniki wpływające na zakupy online to cena, wygoda oraz dostępność produktów. Równocześnie konsumenci mają ograniczoną świadomość zagrożeń związanych z fałszywymi lekami i nielegalną sprzedażą. Badanie ujawniło także niedostateczną wiedzę na temat certyfikacji legalnych aptek internetowych. Wskazano na konieczność wdrożenia działań edukacyjnych oraz regulacyjnych w celu zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa zakupów farmaceutycznych online.
