About the Nominal Style of Philosophical Language, at the example of Ukrainian, Polish and German Language Texts

Abstract

The present article deals with the peculiarities of philosophical texts caused by application of the nominal style. Analysing Ukrainian, Polish and German language texts dedicated to the work of Friedrich Nietzsche, commonalities and distinctions of a grammatical and lexical nature are identified. Based on the premise that philosophy is an essential and immediate precondition for analysing the relationship between thought and language in the linguistic aspect, additional information on the emergence of the Ukrainian philosophical style is gained.
