Over the past decades, terrorism (not just political) has become an increasingly used concept. In addition, there was a need to focus on a thorough refinement of the definition of terrorism. The world of public international law rests on some immovable foundations that are not developing. Nonetheless, social sciences encourage the creation of the most precise definitions to be able to directly interpret some political (or quasi-political) and strictly prohibited acts as terrorism. It should be noted that the problem of defining political terrorism lies on the border between law and political sciences. Due to the fact that in both areas the main idea should be to reach a consensus in finding a concept of political terrorism, both sciences should interpenetrate and complement each other to create a work in the shape of a "legal definition" that allows for error-free evaluation and qualification of activities. Finding a common denominator is necessary not only in the technical aspect, but above all in the field of human security.
