Resilience a strategie radzenia sobie z problemami u matek dzieci z niepełnosprawnością

Abstrakt

Problematyka artykułu dotyczy zagadnienia resilience u matek dzieci z niepełnosprawnością. W opracowaniu zaprezentowano wyniki badań własnych, których celem było ustalenie charakteru zależności między resilience a strategiami radzenia sobie w sytuacjach trudnych. W ramach podjętej problematyki ustalono nasilenie wyznaczników resilience, częstotliwość wykorzystywania określonych strategii oraz relacji zachodzących między tymi dwoma aspektami adaptacyjnego funkcjonowania matek wychowujących dziecko z niepełnosprawnością. Przyjęto rozumienie resilience w kategoriach cechy osobowościowej. W badaniach wzięło udział 101 kobiet – matek dzieci z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną, ruchową oraz z zaburzeniami ze spektrum autyzmu. Materiał zebrano za pomocą Skali Pomiaru Prężności (SPP-25) oraz Kwestionariusza COPE (The Coping Orientations to Problems Experienced). W rezultacie zastosowanej analizy kanonicznej stwierdzono istotny, ale słaby, związek między resilience a strategiami. Zgodnie z hipotetycznymi założeniami ustalono pozytywne relacje wybranych wskaźników resilience z zadaniowym radzeniem sobie oraz negatywne z emocjonalno-unikowym.
