Abstrakt

The first part of the article focuses on the student documentation of Bruno Schulz (birth certificates which were certified copies and student id application forms) found in the Internet catalog of the State Archive of the Lviv Region (DALO). The second part deals with Schulz’s student record (the courses that he took and the grades that he received), being an incomplete reconstruction of the events from 1910-1914 and 1920. Finally, the third part is a comparative analysis of the samples of Schulz’s handwriting from his student years’ documents and some later ones: certified copies of the original certificates of the 1st state examinations passed in 1924 and 1929. The text has been supplemented with a s ort postscript referring to the student documentation of Bruno Schulz’s brother Izydor.
