The aim of the article is an attempt at a philosophical reconstruction and comparison of the concept of friendship between Aristotle and C.S. Lewis. The article was based on the views of both authors presented in the VIII and IX books of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics and in the fourth chapter of The Four Love by C. S. Lewis. Based on a critical analysis of the source and supplementary texts, it was possible to establish the common features and main differences between both concepts, as well as to indicate the possibility of further research regarding the concept of friendship by C.S. Lewis.
