Abstrakt

Celem artykułu jest omówienie specyfikatorów diagnostycznych zaburzenia, jakim jest mutyzm wybiórczy, zgodnie z propozycją DSM-5 oraz ICD-10, ICD-11. Zamierzeniem autorki jest szczegółowa analiza etiopatogenezy mutyzmu wybiórczego. Autorka podejmuje się tego zadania z perspektywy wybranych teorii psychologicznych i zgłoszonych dotychczas danych empirycznych. Przywołane zostały teorie: behawioralna, fobii społecznej, systemów rodzinnych, psychodynamiczna, stresu pourazowego, psychopatologii rozwojowej, neurologiczno-audiologiczne.
