Aims and Scope
„Studia Scandinavica” is a multidisciplinary journal that reflects the dynamic development of Scandinavian Studies.
We accept scientific and review articles as well as other informational texts on the languages, literatures, cultures, and histories of the Nordic region, as well as its societies and media in the broad sense.
We encourage submissions that primarily redefine and expand the contemporary image of the cultures and societies of the Nordic region, as well as publications analyzing social, historical and cultural relations between Poland and
the Nordic countries.
We publish texts in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, English and Polish.
Archiving policy: the publisher provides two printed copies and the digital version of each issue to the National Library.
Publication frequency: an annual.

In the years 2022-2024, the publication of Studia Scandinavica was co-financed from the state budget under a program of the Ministry of Education and Science entitled "Development of Scientific Journals". Contract no. RCN/SP/0215/2021/1 was concluded on 19 December 2022. The financial resources allocated for the implementation of the project amounted to PLN 24,758.30. The objective of the program was to support Polish academic journals in implementing their development strategies, including activities aimed at improving publishing and editorial practices, increasing the journals' impact on the development of science, and maintaining their presence in the international scholarly circulation.
