Social Capital in Pomerania

Abstract

The article analyses part of the results of a broader study concerning the community of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The analysis is related to the issue of social capital and social activity. The results show how internally diverse the community of the Pomeranian Voivodeship is. It can be seen that regions and counties have greater or lesser social activity, as well as differences in the level of social capital. Moreover, it can be noticed that there is a noticeable phenomenon of undertaking social activity with a low level of capital in some counties. At the same time, in the case of several counties, the opposite phenomenon is noticeable.
