Phototherapy is undoubtedly an extensive and varied type of therapy in which the primary story is photography. The text concerns the possibility of using photography in therapeutic work with adults with intellectual disability. In the area of therapeutic activity, phototherapy is usually located in the field of art therapy where the end product is important and thus other functions, with great potential in development work, that are in the working phase are often overlooked, This text is an attempt to answer to the question of what photography can be in the therapy of adults with deeper intellectual disabilities and how it can be used in therapeutic work.
