Abstract

This paper points at a low presence of German-Polish writers in German researches on migration and intercultural literature and presents some hypotheses on the reasons for this phenomenon. In the second part the paper outlines the potential of postcolonial studies and intercultural literary studies for research on the literature of Polish writers living in Germany and German writers of Polish descent.
