The article reveals the essence and contexts of the interpretative turn as one of the manifestations of postmodern culture. The interpretative turn is associated with a change in approaches to the definition of culture, strategies and the methodology of its study, the expansion of the interdisciplinary field of research, the transformation of worldview paradigms towards a pluralistic picture of the world.
