Reviewing procedure

All sent texts intended for the main section of the journal are subject to a reviewing procedure.

1. Each paper sent to the Editorial Office of “Studia Rossica Gedanensia” is evaluated by two independent external reviewers.
2. The names of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors neither in the case of accepting the text for publication or in the absence of a recommendation. Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors of the reviewed papers (double-blind review process).
3. The Editorial Board endeavors to ensure that reviewers are not associated with the author in any way – neither through personal relations, nor on the basis of official subordination or ongoing scientific cooperation.
4. The names of the reviewers are given once a year without indicating the name of the reviewer of the given text.
5. If it is necessary to make corrections in the text, the detailed opinion of the reviewers, with specific guidelines, is forwarded to the author by the editors, without disclosing the names of the reviewers.
6. The author of the text is obliged to send a corrected version, taking into account the reviewer’s instructions.

Basic criteria for qualifying submitted texts for publication:

• original research topic within the scope of the journal,
• research methodology appropriate for the topic,
• linguistic correctness,
• formal compliance of the text with publication principles established by the Editorial Board.
