From Polish biographical, obituary and commemorative lexicography. Part 2. Russia and the USSR but Poland. (A bibliography of selected works from 2022–2023 and a supplement)

Abstract

The article is a continuation of research in the field of Polish biographical lexicography and – divisions newly developed by the author – obituary lexicography and commemorative lexicography. The study focuses on the issues of historical “Poland and Russia” as well as “Poland and the USSR” relations. This year’s work includes a list of 51 dictionaries by Polish authors and (in addition) published by the Russian “Memorial” Association, whose important direction of research and documentation activities is the study of Polish victims of repression, including the genocide in Katyn. The bibliography covers the years 2022–2023 and a supplement of publications from 2006–2021.
